Job Summary: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Store Manager to join MEAS Active. The ideal candidate will have a background in retail management and/or years of experience in a retail store, a keen eye for fashion, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales, staffing, inventory management, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help build and lead a small team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and maximize profitability. Create and manage in-store events such as a sip and shop, yoga class, anniversary event, etc.
  • Establish and increase brand awareness in the community by cultivating and maintaining inclusive relationships with local ambassadors, leaders, community influencers and other external partners. Plan and execute local, and area driven Community projects and initiatives (e. g. , run club, college NIL and ambassador communications, etc)
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment.
  • Create visually appealing merchandise displays to showcase our products effectively.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
  • Work closely with the brand owner to develop processes and grow brand awareness.
  • Opportunity to help with product buys and design direction.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.


  • Proven experience in retail apparel industry. Preferable in retail management, but not required.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for fashion and a keen understanding of current trends.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
