We're not a big-box store — we're building a community, and we need someone who can bring that community through our door.
We're looking for a natural connector who can sell, style, and build relationships — someone who treats every customer like a regular and turns first-time visitors into loyal ones. You'll be on the floor creating an elevated shopping experience, keeping the store running smoothly, and building relationships that bring customers back.
- Deliver an elevated, personal customer experience on the sales floor — styling, product knowledge, genuine connection
- Build and maintain relationships with customers beyond the transaction (follow-ups, styling suggestions, outreach)
- Keep the store clean, organized, and beautifully merchandised
- Support inventory management and online order fulfillment
- Assist with merchandising updates and floor sets under direction from management
- Sales experience (retail, hospitality, or similar) with a track record of closing, not just chatting
- Genuine excitement about MEAS and sharing it on your own social media — not required, but a big plus (and commissionable when you do!)
- Someone who finds creative ways to generate revenue — hosting a shopping event for friends, a sorority, a workout group, or a team is a great example, and it's commissionable too
- Active ties to Cincinnati's fitness, wellness, or active community a big plus (instructors, athletes, class regulars, etc.)
- Self-starter who doesn't wait to be told to reach out to a customer or plan an event
- Comfortable keeping a retail space clean and organized
- Available weekends (required); otherwise flexible scheduling
